In Matthew 28, Christ commissions us, his Church, to reach all men with the message of the Gospel.
This Great Commission is the heart of our mission as the Body of Christ, a calling we each share as believers. In these powerful verses, spoken after his resurrection and before his ascension, Jesus offers his disciples—and us—a clear and inspiring invitation to participate in his saving work.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” –Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus, the Good Shepherd, left the ninety-nine to find the one who was lost. Now, he invites you to do the same. The Great Commission calls us to step beyond the Church walls and bring the love of Christ to those who need him most. Every soul is precious to him. Let's reach the lost and rekindle their faith.
