Strengthening Sacramental Preparation: Lay Leaders Professional Development Day

Join Augustine Institute faculty and your fellow lay leaders for a day-long workshop on sacramental preparation. Sponsored by the MA Pastoral Theology program at the Augustine Institute and designed for lay pastoral leaders, this workshop will arm participants with theological knowledge and pastoral application to take back to their mission fields.

Graduate School Live Event: Ends, Principles, and Means of Catholic Education

Join Augustine Institute and the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education (ICLE) for this informational session on the purpose of Catholic education.We'll begin with a brief reflection from Dr. Jeffrey Lehman on the ends, principles, and means of Catholic Education. In this talk, he will reflect on the human person, the classical liberal arts, and the integration of all learning in the light of the Catholic Faith. He will also discuss how this is taught in the Teachers for Christ graduate program, which is committed to forming faithful schoolteachers.

You will also hear from Dr. Ryan Messmore, the president of ICLE, who will discuss the work they are doing through the teaching credential program.

Graduate students of Teachers for Christ will discuss why they are choosing teaching not only as a profession but as a vocation to bring Christ to the center of every classroom.

Summer Seminars for Undergraduate Students (June 10-13, 2026)

Join the Augustine Institute Graduate School of Theology in St. Louis, Missouri, for a four-day experience that combines academic study, prayer, recreation, and a faith-filled community. Our Summer Seminars include two different seminars for rising college seniors that run simultaneously in June: the Sacred Page Seminar, which is dedicated to the study of Scripture, and the City of God Seminar, which explores the writings of St. Augustine in the context of today’s culture.
