This webinar is for those considering a master’s degrees via our distance education program. The admissions team will be joined by Dr Hefelfinger, who will give a reflection for the Feast of St Teresa of Avila.
Can a cloistered nun really speak to the lives of lay Catholics? It can be tempting to dismiss some of St. Teresa’s thought as too challenging, too specific, or just generally inapplicable to the life of the ordinary lay person. But when we do this, we often miss the wisdom and opportunities for growth that she offers. Let’s talk about a few tips to appreciate more what St. Teresa has to offer us.

We are delighted to welcome our alumni for a weekend of prayer, fellowship, and festivity on our new 284-acre campus in St. Louis, Missouri. This first annual alumni reunion will begin with a half-day conference sponsored by the MA Biblical Studies program followed by a full day with faculty, staff, and fellow alumni. You will hear from our faculty in presentations both learned and light-hearted, get an insider’s briefing about the Augustine Institute’s new initiatives, and have the chance to connect with other alumni from around the country who are actively spreading the Gospel!
This webinar is for those interested in learning more about our new on-campus Teachers for Christ program starting June 2025.Teachers for Christ is a program that forms Catholic teachers of all subject areas so that they are ready to place the best practices of Catholic liberal education at the service of the temporal and eternal good of the whole human person.
Students complete the two-year graduate program debt-free with the Master of Arts in Catholic Education from the Augustine Institute, an alternative teaching license from the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education's Catholic Educator Formation and Credential Program, and extensive classroom experience in Catholic schools.
The admissions team will be joined by professors of the program as they discuss the design of the on-campus program, the admissions process, and the program curriculum.

During a campus visit retreat, you will stay 1-2 nights in the new residence towers at the Augustine Institute, attend seminars on a theological topic, discern graduate studies at the feet of our eucharistic Lord in adoration and Holy Mass, join a walking tour of campus with one of our student ambassadors, participate in various recreational activities, and enjoy a festive dinner with professors and students.
