Other information: St. John Paul II Scholars work as apostolic interns for a parish, school, or Catholic apostolates in Denver. As paid student workers, the St. John Paul II Scholars hone their skills under the direction of a mentor.

Due to the commitment level asked of a St. John Paul II Scholar, students who have additional employment beyond the weekly internship hours may not be good candidates. Students may not count their current employment as an internship.
Although all full-time students in Denver are expected to participate in the on-campus community, St. John Paull II Scholars are expected to be leaders in a particular way in on-campus life.
