The stories are centered around “The Grand Depot”—a train depot that’s been restored. The series presents faith-affirming slice-of-life stories, mysteries, and fantasies through a group of close friends, quirky characters and families of Hope Springs. These stories take place approximately one year after book 9 of The Adventures of Nick & Sam and the events of The Virtue Chronicles created by Paul McCusker.

Paul McCusker is an acclaimed American writer and producer, best known for his work on Adventures in Odyssey and Focus on the Family’s Radio Theatre. Throughout his prolific career, Paul has written more than 50 books, 21 plays, and 4 musicals, earning recognition for his creative storytelling and faith-based content.
Continuing his passion for audio drama, Paul has now brought his talents to the Augustine Institute, producing compelling stories that inspire and educate. Paul’s work reflects a lifelong commitment to creating meaningful, faith-centered narratives for audiences of all ages.
