Jonathan Reyes, Ph.D.

St. Augustine Chair for the Evangelization of Culture

Biography

Dr. Reyes was recently appointed the St. Augustine Chair of the Evangelization of Culture.  He has served in senior leadership at various Catholic institutions including the USCCB, FOCUS, the Knights of Columbus, Christendom College and Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of Denver.   He helped to found the Augustine Institute in 2015 and served as its first president.  He also founded Christ in the City, a national apostolate for serving the homeless based in Denver, CO.  He is a nationally known speaker and was the executive producer of the documentary Mother Teresa: No Greater Love (2022).

All of our academic programs therefore seek, first, to allow students to make their own “all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col. 2:3), which are found in Christ and passed down in the Sacred Tradition of the Catholic Church. Second, our programs prepare students to hand these treasures on to others effectively through evangelization and catechesis.
