As parents, we are called to be our children’s primary educators in the faith. It is a significant responsibility that many parents struggle to fulfill. The consequences of this struggle are immense. Twenty percent of children baptized Catholic never receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion, and an additional 30 percent do not receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
We must empower those who educate our youth. At the Augustine Institute, we are committed to supporting parents, teachers, and catechists with programming and sacramental preparation resources that point children’s hearts and minds to Christ.
In the past year, our children’s programming on FORMED was streamed for over 395,000 hours. We have bold ambitions to increase the programming available on FORMED, as well as the Amen prayer and meditation app. Our plans include:
The generosity of donors like you fuels our mission. Every contribution, no matter the amount, goes directly to delivering this critical content to children and families.
In this season of sacrifice and selflessness, I hope you will consider donating to the Augustine Institute. Your support will enable us to develop and distribute the faithful, family-friendly programming that helps parents guide their children to Christ and embed in them the zeal for our Catholic faith.
