Founded in 2005 under Archbishop Chaput in Denver, CO by Dr. Tim Gray and Dr. Jonathan Reyes, the Augustine Institute has served the needs of the Lay faithful in the New Evangelization for 14 years. We count some of the great champions of the last few decades in the Church among our graduates. Today, in addition to the Graduate School, the Augustine Institute has expanded to develop the best content to reach Catholics at all stages of their faith journey – from publishing books to developing parish programs, building strategic partnerships in the Church and technological platforms like FORMED.
In 2015 we merged with Lighthouse Catholic Media helping further our efforts of evangelization with a deep library of content, evangelists in parishes around the country and great partnerships with organizations like Ignatius Press. From this relationship, we developed the FORMED platform which integrates over 60 Catholic apostolates, reaches 900,000 lay Catholics and is in more than 5,000 parishes.
Our dedicated staff, helmed by our Executive Leadership Team, bring years of experience together to continue to drive the New Evangelization forward through orthodox teaching and innovative approaches.
