Annual St. John Paul II Scholarship Application is Now Open!
The Augustine Institute’s Graduate School of Theology is pleased to announce its annual scholarship competition, which invites applications from young Catholic men and women who wish to answer the call to serve the New Evangelization.
Each year, the Institute names a select number of John Paul II Scholars, who receive a full-tuition scholarship to study the life-giving doctrine of the faith at the Augustine Institute’s campus in Denver, Colorado. John Paul II Scholars are also offered the opportunity to serve a Denver-area parish, school, or apostolate through a paid internship that is based on his or her particular interests.
The St. John Paul II award is bestowed on those students who demonstrate themselves to be devout servants of Christ and His Church and who show significant potential as leaders in the New Evangelization. Finalists will be invited to interview in Denver in February.
The Augustine Institute will also be awarding a select number of St. Newman and St. Brebeuf partial scholarships to top candidates. All applications for the Sts. John Paul II, Newman, and Brebeuf scholarships must be received by January 25, 2020.
With a degree from the Augustine Institute, graduates are prepared to make a lasting contribution to the New Evangelization by joining over five hundred alumni around the United States who have gone on for further study or who are serving in parishes, schools, dioceses, apostolates and many other venues where the light of the Gospel is desperately needed.
