Biography

Scott Powell is an instructor at the Denver Catholic Biblical School, a lay division of the St. John Vianney Seminary. He has served as editor for the internationally read CatholicNewsAgency.com and has been a frequent contributor to the National Catholic Register. Scott co-authored the Ascension Press study guide for "Adventures in Exodus, Called to Freedom" with Dr. Tim Gray. Scott spent a number of years ministering to college students through FOCUS.

Scott, his wife, Annie, his daughter, Lily Avila, and his son, Samuel, live near Boulder, Colorado. They are the founders and directors of Camp Wojtyla, a Catholic outdoor adventure program for youth.
